Qualification

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Engineering, Technology Management, Business Administration, Science, Technology & Innovation (STI) Studies or related.

Working Experience

  • Fresh graduates with relevant research experience.
  • 2-5 years of experience in research, policy analysis, or project management within a think tank, government agency, consulting firm or research institution.

Job Descriptions

  1. Conduct in-depth research, data collection, and analysis to support foresight studies, reports, and strategic initiatives.
  2. Support research activities related to the assigned project(s), ensuring timely and high-quality contributions throughout the appointment.
  3. Collaborate with senior analysts to ensure research aligns with project goals.
  4. Contribute to the design and execution of stakeholder engagements, focus groups, and expert consultations to validate research outcomes.
  5. Assist in preparing presentations, workshops, and stakeholder engagements to communicate research findings effectively.
  6. Assist in planning, scheduling, and monitoring project timelines, deliverables, and key milestones to ensure successful execution.
  7. Coordinate project tasks, manage resources, and support the preparation of proposals, budgets, and reports.
  8. Assist in the organisation and execution of workshops, stakeholder meetings, and related events.
  9. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project implementation.
  10. Engage with stakeholders for data collection and collaboration, and present research findings as needed.
  11. Facilitate workshops and capacity-building sessions, teaching relevant methods and processes to stakeholders.
  12. Assist in preparing briefing materials, presentations, and reports for stakeholder meetings and engagements.
  13. Manage project documentation and logistics, and ensure timely submission of required reports and documents.
  14. Provide administrative support for cross-functional teams, ensuring seamless coordination between research, project management, and stakeholder engagement activities.
  15. Any other tasks assigned by the Superior in the interest of MIGHT.

Qualification

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, Accounting, Public Policy, Science/ Engineering or related.

Working Experience

Added advantage: Familiarity with ROC/ SSM registration processes and committee governance.

Job Descriptions

  1. NAMC Registration & Governance (ROC/ SSM Malaysia)
    • Lead the preparation, consolidation, and submission of required registration documents for NAMC with ROC/ SSM Malaysia (e.g., constitution/ charter, forms, supporting documents).
    • Coordinate with consortium members for signatures, office bearer details, and required supporting evidence.
    • Track registration progress and provide status updates to MIGHT/ NAMC leadership.
    • Establish a NAMC Compliance Calendar for statutory filings and governance requirements post-registration (e.g., annual returns, changes of office bearers).
  2. Secretariat & Meeting Management (AGM, Steering, MIGs/ Working Groups)
    • Plan and coordinate NAMC meetings including AGM, Steering Committee meetings, MIGs/ working groups, and special sessions as required.
    • Prepare meeting packs: notices, invitations, agendas, briefing notes, and resolution papers.
    • Manage meeting logistics (venue/ virtual platform, attendance registration, quorum checks where applicable).
    • Draft, circulate, and finalise minutes; maintain decision logs, action registers, and follow-up trackers.
    • Maintain a secure, well-organised document repository (governance documents, minutes, membership records, resolutions, and correspondence).
  3. Administrative & Financial Coordination (to sustain NAMC operations)
    • Support administrative workflows for NAMC operations including correspondence, filing, documentation control, and record management.
    • Coordinate with MTN/ MIGHT finance/ admin teams on basic tracking of NAMC-related administrative spending, payments, and supporting documentation (as applicable).
    • Support audit readiness by ensuring records are complete, traceable, and retrievable.
  4. Stakeholder Engagement & Communications
    • Act as Secretariat liaison between MIGHT/ NAMC and external stakeholders (government, industry, academia, associations).
    • Maintain stakeholder contact lists and engagement records; ensure consistent communications and follow-ups.
    • Support events and outreach activities related to NAMC including briefings, workshops, exhibitions and formal engagements.
    • Prepare stakeholder brief notes, talking points, and programme updates as required.
  5. Research, Reporting & Strategic Support
    • Conduct targeted research and benchmarking to support NAMC priorities (e.g., ecosystem mapping, policy scanning, stakeholder profiling).
    • Support preparation of periodic reports, presentations, and secretariat updates for internal governance and senior leadership briefings.
    • Assist in drafting strategic papers/ publications and programme documentation, where required.
  6. Any other task assigned by the Superior in the interest of MIGHT.
