Principal Analyst II
Degree in Engineering, Economics or a Related Field with an Environmental Focus.
More than 5 years of practical, hands-on experience in project management or managerial positions in sustainable projects
Experience with project requirements or working with international organisations will be considered an added advantage
Technical and commercial experience in the energy industry and advanced materials, with the ability to provide input for overall project components and liaise with all stakeholders
Perform tasks as a project manager and be accountable for project deliverables, timelines and staying within the planned budget.
Provide day-to-day operations management, monitoring and evaluation of project activities according to the agreed work plan and time schedule.
Elaborate the work plan for the entire project and ensure its effective execution; create synergies within the work plan to increase the impact of project activities.
Provide regular progress reports and support the team during meetings; establish a monitoring and reporting framework at the beginning of the project.
Coordinate and supervise the project team or Project Delivery Partners (PDPs).
Identify, coordinate and monitor the execution of co-funded demonstration projects. Appraise the relevance, feasibility, effectiveness, efficiency and sustainability of the projects to be co-funded and provide technical inputs.
Act as the communication and liaison officer between internal and external
Support internal and external administrative assistants of the international parties involved.
Any other tasks assigned by the Superior in the interest of MIGHT.
3 to 5 years of experience in advanced troubleshooting and independent maintenance.
1. Routine Maintenance & Repairs
Perform routine maintenance tasks, including servicing Air Handling Unit (AHU) and Fan Coil Unit (FCU) systems, electrical panels, lighting fixtures, and plumbing systems.
Address cosmetic repairs such as painting, patching walls, and fixing fixtures.
Develop and follow a schedule for preventative care to reduce the risk of equipment failure.
Inspect building systems and components regularly to ensure they are functioning efficiently and safely.
Respond promptly to urgent maintenance requests, including power outages, leaks, or equipment malfunctions.
Maintain accurate documentation of inspections, repairs, maintenance schedules, and equipment logs.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to mechanical, electrical, and structural components.
Adjust and maintain control systems, such as thermostats, energy management systems, and access control systems.
Conduct routine building inspection rounds, including checking the roof, in the morning and evening to promptly address any electrical disturbances, alarm system issues, AHU or FCU malfunctions, and to ensure lights and split-unit air conditioners are properly turned on or off.
3. Building Systems Operation & Compliance
Monitor and operate building systems, including elevators, fire alarms, and security equipment.
Ensure the building adheres to local regulations, safety standards, and codes.
Test and maintain fire alarms, sprinklers, emergency lighting, and other safety systems regularly.
4. Emergency Response & Safety Measures
Provide support during emergencies by implementing safety protocols and coordinating with contractors or emergency services.
Standby for on-calls and emergencies regarding building matters.
5. Contractor/ Vendor Management
Oversee external contractors performing any tasks, such as elevator maintenance, pest control, and office renovation.
Verify that contractors meet safety and quality standards during their work.
6. Facility Cleanliness
Ensure cleanliness and organisation of maintenance areas, equipment rooms, and building grounds.
Manage waste disposal systems and oversee recycling programs where applicable.
7. Coordination & Support
Address maintenance requests and inquiries from building occupants in a professional and timely manner.
Collaborate with staff to ensure their needs are met while adhering to building policies.
Report any significant issues or recommendations for building improvements to the supervisor.
Assist in setting up for any events held at MIGHT, ensuring all arrangements are completed efficiently and to the required standards.
Any other tasks assigned by the Superior in the interest of MIGHT.
