Celebrating excellence, leadership and meaningful impact
A prestigious national initiative to recognise outstanding women driving innovation and technology across Malaysia’s STEM ecosystem.
Organised by Yayasan Tuanku Fauziah (YTF) and supported by MIGHT, the Award recognises outstanding individuals whose leadership, research, innovation, entrepreneurship and technological excellence are advancing Malaysia’s sustainable, inclusive and future-ready development.
The Award also aims to inspire the next generation of women to pursue careers in technology and contribute to Malaysia’s digital, artificial intelligence and innovation-driven future.

Recognising established leaders and emerging changemakers
Two categories recognise outstanding women at different stages of their professional and leadership journeys.
Category 01
Senior Women in Technology Award
- Minimum 20 years of professional experience in a technology-related field.
- Demonstrated leadership in innovation, digital transformation, research, engineering or technology commercialisation.
- Evidence of significant impact at organisational, national or international level.
- Strong contribution to mentoring, talent development or the advancement of women in technology.
Category 02
Junior Women in Technology Award
- 35 years of age or below, or less than 10 years of professional experience in a technology-related field.
- Demonstrated innovation, technical excellence or entrepreneurial achievement.
- Evidence of leadership potential and measurable impact.
- Active involvement in STEM, innovation, research and development, or technology promotion.

Self-Nomination
Eligible women may submit their own achievements, contributions and supporting evidence.

Organisational Nomination
Companies, government agencies, universities, institutions and professional bodies may nominate candidates.

Third-Party Nomination
Industry leaders, mentors and recognised professionals may nominate deserving candidates with consent.

Information for nominees and nominators
The Awards are open to Malaysian citizens only. Senior nominees must have at least 20 years of professional experience in a technology-related field. Junior nominees must be 35 years of age or below, or have less than 10 years of professional experience in a technology-related field.
No. There is no fee to submit a nomination or participate in the Awards.
Yes. Consent is mandatory for nominations submitted by an organisation or third party.
All nominations must be submitted through the official online nomination portal. Nominations are now open and will close on 5 September 2026.

Referees may include employers, supervisors, academic leaders, professional peers, collaborators, industry experts or recognised community leaders.
Once a nomination form has been submitted, it cannot be edited or changed. Any request for amendments must be submitted in writing to the Award Secretariat for consideration. Requests to withdraw a nomination must also be submitted in writing to the Award Secretariat before the evaluation process begins.
Senior Award: RM30,000, Trophy and Certificate. Junior Award: RM15,000, Trophy and Certificate.
