CYBERJAYA, Oct 4 (Bernama) \u2013The new national car project is expected to roll-out it first model before 2020, said Entrepreneur Development Minister Mohd Redzuan Yusof.<\/p>\n

He said the semi-autonomous car was planned to enter the global market and would cater to demand from young people.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are now short-listing two to three partners to participate in this project, including Silterra and CTRM, and expect (the selection)\u00a0to be concluded by year-end.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe prototype for this (car) model is expected to be ready by early next year,\u201d he told reporters at a media briefing on the new national car project here today.<\/p>\n

Mohd Redzuan said the project\u00a0would be fully funded by the private sector with the help of several government ministries\u2026..<\/p>\n
